About the Program

The Bowman Teacher Education Symposium equips educators with ways they can increase learning in the classroom through practical methodologies. Dr. Herman Bowman was passionate about this as a teacher and an administrator throughout his career, and this is the reason for his funding of this symposium. In-service teachers, administrators, pre-service teachers, and others in the field of education are invited to attend. Attendants will receive a CTLE certificate of participation. Roberts Wesleyan College Teacher Education Alumni are invited to attend a dessert reception immediately following in the Davison Art Gallery.
